Please read and follow the rules carefully before submitting your subject claim via a comment to this post. Furthermore, make sure you have read the rules in the community info and please join the community before submitting your claim. You will not be given posting access if you are not a member. If you do not join first, you will lose priority status and we will approve someone over you even if they requested the claim after you. If you have any questions, please ask them at out FAQ page.
[one] You must check to see if you subject has already been claimed. If your subject is already taken, you may not apply until it is freed up. You may however, claim it on the Claims Waiting List and your claim will be given priority when your subject becomes available. Subjects are on a first come first serve basis.
[two] If for some reason you are unable to complete you icons and would like to give up your claim, please let us know by commenting at the Resign/Extend a Claim page. Also, if you would like an extension on your claim, please let us know by commenting at the Resign/Extend a Claim page.
[three] You are allowed to claim the following types of subjects: Heroes in general, actor or actress, any gender, any main character, any guest star, any guest star character, any season of the show, any episode of the show, or any pairing/ship/otp. You must make a total of 100 icons of whatever subject you choose.
[four] If you claim a character, you can only use the actors appearances on Heroes and nothing else. However, if you claim a character that has a limited amount of air time on the show and therefore there are very few pictures available, you can use some pictures from outside the show. However, please keep this to a maximum of 10 icons with pictures from outside of Heroes.
[five] If you claim an actor/actress, you can only have 10 icons with pictures of that person on Heroes. All your other icons must contain pictures of that person outside of the character they play on the show.
[six] If you claim an episode/series/season, please make sure your icons cover the entire episode/series/season. Don't claim an episode/series/season only to end up making an entire batch of icons with just Peter.
[seven] If you claim a pairing/ship/otp, all your icons do not have to include both people in it. However, an icon with just a single member of that pairing/ship/otp must somehow relate to the pairing/ship/opt.
Once your application has been approved, your subject will be listed here, you will be given posting access, and you may begin to post you icons.
