No one knew what had happened. There had been no rumours on the Internet, no whispers amongst cast and crew. It caught everyone completely and equivocally off guard.
The final month of filming season three had been hell for the cast and crew. When the cameras were on everything had been the same. Two professional actors doing their jobs to the best of their abilities. But when the cameras were off there had been no fights; no biting remarks; no bitter looks. There had simply been nothing. No words, no looks, no emotions.
No one had mentioned it but everyone talked about it; whispered rumours that fell silent the second Milo or Hayden appeared. A tension had fallen over the set, and never abated. Not even during the hiatus.
So when Hayden showed up for the first day of filming season four and walked across the set -- ignoring the director, crew and all her castmates -- directly into Milo's arm, everyone was shocked. And when Milo wrapped his arms around her in return, burying his face in her hair, everyone was shocked again.
But everyone was happy.
