Taking Chance.

I just watched Taking Chance with the Hubs. I don't believe I've ever seen a movie that treated the military with such respect before.

From IMDB: Based on real-life events, Lt. Col. Michael Strobl, a volunteer military escort officer, accompanies the body of 19-year-old Marine Chance Phelps back to his hometown of Dubois, Wyoming.

That's good to know. I don't think most Hollywood films can find the line between 'accuracy' and 'respectful.' Mostly I think they just exaggerate things for impact, because they care about $ and not the people they're representing.

You're absolutely right, babe. This movie was classy from beginning to end, as well as respectful not only to the Corps but to the other Forces, too.

I saw a preview for this on HBO and want to see it SO BAD!!!!

I'll make sure to keep the tissues handy *nodnod*

My grandpa was in the Navy, on a sub ... he fought at the battle of Midway ... It will be nice to see a movie showing respect for the military and those who serve.
