Notes: I haven't watched Supernatural past half of season 4, not because I don't want to, but because of lack of TV (we managed to break 2 TVs, lol)and conflicting schedules. I expect to catch up on it all via DVDs. I say this because that means I'm out of the loop on what's happened recently. PLEASE do not spoil me. And if this seems out of tune with Season 5, that's because it hasn't happened yet. At least not here :P
This is for
elikiros, who requested Lexean Mpreg for Xmas! I'm late, but I got there, babe! Hope you like it!!
I love me some comments! If you like it, kindly let me know!! :D
Sweet
Dean's cell phone rang and he quickly fumbled to turn it off. Damn it. He could only hope it hadn't given away his location to the demons looking for him, but he knew he'd have no such luck. He took a deep breath, squared his shoulders, and ran like hell.
It was morning when he and Sam made it back to their motel room. Dean was dirty, soiled, really, hungry, and exhausted. He threw himself under the shower water and ate some beef jerky before falling face first on the narrow bed on the right side of the room, the one closest to the door. His cell phone was the farthest thing from his mind as he fall asleep.
When he turned his phone back on, at dusk, it let him know he had several messages and missed calls. Dean was about to play the messages back, when a bright light coming from outside stopped him. If he had to pick between demons and angels, he honestly didn't know which way he'd go. Seriously.
Son of a bitch. Dean groaned and tried kicking Sam to wake his brother up. They were both tied up in a basement that looked more like a dungeon, and they had to get out of there now. There was no way he was going to let them be possessed like the others. Especially Sammy. Dean was still his older brother and he would protect the kid, no matter what.
His cell phone had gotten broken during their break out, so Dean had no choice but to clone another one. It was a new number and he was going to have to change the forwarding message service to this one, but not right now. Right now they had to find that freaky thing and send it back to hell, or wherever it had come from. Dude, that was nasty.
Dean left Sam at the Talon and headed down the road again. Surely Chloe would keep his brother entertained for a while with her own tales of the weird and unexplained. Dean loved that girl like a sister and if it weren't so dangerous all the time, he'd gladly invite her to join them.
…
"I'm gonna kill you," Lex said with a seriousness to him that Dean really believed him.
Even so, Dean gave him a lazy grin. "Heh. Get in line."
"Oh, I won't do it today. Or tomorrow. No." Lex let Dean wrap his arms around him and kiss tenderly across his jaw line. "After the birth. You'll wake up dead some day, just you wait."
Dean chuckled. Lex was so not gonna kill him. "Been there, done that. Are they being a pain in the ass?" he asked, running a hand down to cup Lex's growing belly. It was big for a five-month pregnant belly but then again, Lex did have two little Deans in there.
"Not in the ass. Everywhere else, yes."
"Aw. Poor little Lexy..." Dean sucked on Lex's right earlobe and grinned when he got smacked on the arm, hard.
"Don't pity me."
"I don't pity you," explained Dean. "I love you." He didn't say it often, but sometimes, the words just had to come out of him, and he was learning to let them.
"I've been calling you for days."
Dean leaned back, his hand halfway into Lex's pants, and gave Lex a worried look. "Everything okay?"
Lex just watched him for a long time, the bastard. He was letting Dean's concern simmer, and was probably enjoying the hell out of it, too. Bitch.
"I was attacked two weeks ago," Lex said casually after his pause. He touched Dean's chest over his t-shirt and played with the pendant hanging there. "Three metas with a grudge against my father. Amazing that the man still has fierce enemies after being dead for years."
Dean frowned deeply. He held Lex's sides, wishing he could have been here to protect Lex and their unborn twins. He should have answered his phone. Lionel had died when the second meteor shower had hit Smallville, but it seemed that the man's damned (and evil) legacy was still very much alive and kicking. Lex still had to deal with metahuman experiments and relocation to this day. "Are you-"
"I'm fine, and so are the babies. Clark got here before the metas could do too much damage."
"Were you hurt?" Dean asked, knowing that whatever injuries Lex had sustained then would be long gone now, due to his rapid healing.
"Not too much. But it's made me reach the decision I've been postponing for a while. I'm moving back to Metropolis, Dean."
Dean slowly nodded. "Good call. The end of the world won't start there, I'm pretty sure."
Lex let out a dry chuckle. "That's a great prospective when you're going to have babies, you know. The end of the world."
Dean cupped Lex's face with his right hand and leaned in very close, touching their foreheads together. He probably wouldn't be able to do so in a month or two, depending on how big Lex and the twins were going to get. "I won't let it happen, Lex."
"I know." Lex hugged Dean's shoulders loosely. "You come back to us," he ordered in a quiet tone.
"I will."
"Good." Lex took a deep breath and let his eyes fall closed while he enjoyed Dean being there, so real and solid. Warm, too.
"I'm here now," Dean continued, and when Lex opened his eyes, he caught the smirk on his lover's lips. "You know."
"I noticed." Lex smiled. "Let's go upstairs. I'll let you show me just how much you missed me."
"Sweet."
