Aw man, the inclusion of Nosferatu on there is great, but the poster you used reminded me of the most disappointing movie rental ever. I WANTED the 1922 version, but accidentally rented the 1919 version, which is what the poster you put up is from. The 1979 one is crummy movie if you ask me :( .

I just watched the original The Fly three days ago, and that one is great.

Ace inclusion of Evil Dead II

Amen. The Werner Herzog version of Nosferatu is like watching paint dry.

Did either of you ever see Shadow of the Vampire?

hi, i don't know you BUT i liked your horror list idea.

and the reason i am commenting to this and not lurking (as is my custom) i have one qualm. the fact that you thought silent hill was well-acted. my boyfriend and i are pretty big fans of the horror genre; zombie movies especially, as well as bruce campbell classics, etc. but we were both in complete agreeance that the dialogue in silent hill was the worst we'd both ever seen. in any movie, ever. the cop and the lady had the most ridiculous conversations. are you sure this is the same silent hill we're talking about? i don't mean to offend at all, i am just a little worried! :)

anyway, nice to meet you? the name's sara. i am a friend of stef's.

No, the dialougue was terrible but the actors didnt write the dialouge and I thought they did really well with what they were given.
I will have to go back and watch it again but, while I certainly was floored by the acting, I believed everyones performances. And given the supernatural setting I think that must be hard to do, so that is why I thought it was good.

i just wandered in from indiefucks. i kind of hate half the movies on here, but i won't be an ass. i just wanted to say hahahahahaha the sentinel! i need to see that sometime; i read the book in highschool and it was so jaw-droppingly bad. the big proof of satanism being afoot, as i remember, was that two of the tenants were lesbians.

also, the burbs is one of my favorite movies.
