Finally, I got to see the Brokeback Mountain in a  local theatre and I loved it. Ah, dear, you have seen it finally! I agree with you: the first part is the best, their first meeting, their first love making and the mountains around them (since I LOVE mountains...). And when we have the flash back with Ennis holding Jake is the sweetest moment in the movie, and the saddest too. A sad and beautiful movie with great and sentive actors (I especially loved Gyllenhal, so tender).

Why all great movies have to be sad?! Oh, and I love the second tent scene, where Jack hold Ennis and Ennis' emotional struggle. Why people just simpy can't accept such a strong love when it has lasted for 20 years? I understand social pressure and all that...but 20 years!it's more than the most marriages last nowdays. You like mountains-that's great!i've always thought to be the only idiot since all the folks I know prefer seaside. And those mountains reminded me so badly of mountains in canada (know it's not the same usa's but still..)where i've hiked every month for 2 years. now it's only a memory.
jeez, i was supposed to finish that story long ago, but i have such a writing block. Anyways *returns the hug*
