I'm not a native English speaker either, so I can't help you with syntax mistakes, but I really enjoyed your fic. You can build a atmosphere, you play well with the Greek mythological imagery, and with the relation between Hephaistion and Alexander and the always difficult relation between Alexander and his mother. Keep the good work!!

Thank you. I'm glad you liked it. I love Greek mythology and I've read about it since I was a child, so it's great to know that it worked in the story. And Alexander's relation with Olympias always made me anxious, as much as the one with Hephaistion fascinated me.

Just beautiful and so poetic...I LOVE classical mythology and mostly Greek culture, so I love your writing, putting them in your story. Your fic is so smart, I really love it!

I've just discovered this fic having enjoyed your latest one about the Gordian Knot. What a beautiful story, your writing is very poetic and you convey the relationship between A and H extremely well. Again I like the theme you have chosen - the Temple of Amon. Have you thought of writing a story about their visit to Troy?

Thank you for your praises *blushes* and I'm happy you enjoyed this one, too. I've been in love with Alexander since I was ten and it would be pity not to understand beloved after all those years;) Yes, I did think of writing about their visit to Troy, and I might do it, but the context of the story needs to 'appear' somehow in my mind. Thanks for comment.
