[He awakens with a start.
For a moment, Riku is uncertain--and then he's up on his feet. Checking out his surroundings. Mind working. The last he knew, he was on Destiny Islands with Xion, waiting for her to wake up. Why is he here now; why is he waking up here now? There's nothing to be found around the small room, nothing except for what he finds on the nightstand.
A key. Ostensibly to this room--it goes into his pocket. A quill--useless, for the moment. A book, leather bound. He picks it up and ruffles through the pages.
Finds Lord Deior's greeting.]
...no. No way...
[It can't be. There's no way.
All Riku can see in Deior's greeting is his own failure. How he's, however unintentionally, abandoned Sora to sleep for some unknown period of time, long enough to cause the rest of the worlds' destruction. It's obvious: He'd failed to bring Xion back in time. Sora had been unable to wake up. The disaster DiZ had predicted had come to pass; Organization XIII had accomplished their goal, the worlds had all been destroyed--unmade--and somehow--for some reason--he had been brought here to await the worlds' recreation.
Riku is out of the room almost before the thought has fully crossed his mind, tucking the record into his other pocket.
His hood is up as he makes his way through the keep, walking with long strides and purpose, but with absolutely no idea where he's going.
But he has to find something. He has to find out why he's here.]
