Saturday, Momoko and Jaime's apartment, San Antonio

Momoko had worked the late shift Friday, so sleeping in was only natural. As was waking up and being hungry. What wasn't natural was being six.

After a few minutes seconds of being very confused about where she was and some time bouncing on the bed to get her happy back, Momoko left her room and found the kitchen

Jaime was yawning hugely as he came out of his bedroom, and promptly stepped in a spot of jelly.

"Wha--?" he asked, scrambling to catch his balance.

"EH?!" Momoko gasped in surprise, splashing the milk as she turned at the noise. "Whooozaat?" She brandished the (giant salad serving) spoon like a weapon, just in case.

Jaime didn't actually have a response to that. He was too busy staring.

And then too busy facepalming.

At least he didn't have to be in class on Monday and could catch up on all the sleep he was about to miss out on.

Now why on earth would you think that Jaime?

"Ahh!" Momoko scrambled to her feet. "JAIME?! You're here! You're here! You're here! YAY! I don't have to find your house! Did you stay over? I made breakfasts for me and Moshi!"

She held out the big bowl of cereal. "Want me to make you some too? You can have some of mine but I ate all the bananas out of it already."

A Dinah with no idea her friend had been shrunk was calling!

Momoko heard the ring tone and jumped up with excitement... "Dinah's calling Dinah's calling Dinah's calling!"

Maybe Dinah needed her help! She ran back to the bedroom and began tossing it, trying to find the phone.

"Oh!" luckily she could jump reaaaally high - and that nothing on the dresser was breakable. "Dinah! Hi hi! Do you gots a hero Pea Eye job? I can help! Ranger Momoko Pink is ready to go! I just needs a por-til!"

"What the--" Ohhhhhh. Dinah started laughing, then got a hold of her reaction, turning it down to just snickering. "It's that weekend, hunh? Sorry hon, no case to work on, I finished this week's job on Friday night. And it wasn't very heroic, just really boring. How are you doing?" And then a thought: "Is Jaime there with you?"

Momoko sighed hard. "Whhhhhhy's it gotta be Jaime? Imma hero too!"
