Ack, I haven't written in forever. researcher and I were talking the other day about how Livejournal projects a skewed vision of how people really are doing, as people seem more likely to journal extensively when they're upset about something. I've been doing well, therefore I haven't been writing here

I don't think the minor will make a difference. Could you sign up for it & cancel if a job opportunity came along that you liked? What I discovered is that the "real world" is nothing like the college world, and that college is really an anomaly to life. When else does one get the chance to sleep in until noon and muse for hours in a cafe about a paper? Or in busier times, work 20 hours a week for an international news agency while taking 5 classes and stay up until 3 AM writing papers on Baudelaire?

As for LJ, I hadn't posted in 14 weeks! Simply because I didn't have time. But I'm back now...
