I'm thankful for anime!

Am at work, and as things are (for the moment-- knock on wood) quiet, I have decided to prepare a top 10 list of my favourite/most memorable anime episodes. Not series: episodes. I was very sad, too, when Sai disappeared in the manga. The scene was executed so well it really does gut you. It's almost like losing a close friend/family member whom you did not get to see for the last time--or worse, who you DID but you never suspected this would happen and then you didn't even notice what they were trying to convey.

What makes it worse, in my opinion, is that Sai was a ghost. It's not like Hikaru can go and tell people about how his pet ghost disappeared and express his grief openly. The part where he cried "God, please turn back time and let me meet him again!" and then bawled was absolutely heart-wrenching.
