Actually, I am. These write-ups are fascinating, and I can't wait to see what made the final cut and what you have to say about them (and, at a guess for winner: Haibane Renmei?)

Reading your description for this episode actually physically struck home for me - .hack//SIGN was the second anime I ever saw, hot on the heels of a silly shounen-ai series I still adore. I loved this episode so much, but it's been years since I saw it, and reading through this synopsis makes me want to seek out the series, wherever it may be, on the web so that I can enjoy it all over again. For now, I'll settle to putting the soundtracks on repeat. :)

This is a lot of fun to read! I haven't seen some of the series you're talking about, but I still like reading your summaries. It's always interesting to hear what a friend liked about a particular series or episode.
