I loved that episode so fucking much. It's making me tear up just thinking about it. Oh god. For me, Rakka coming back was just...such a powerful thing, that the sum total of Reki's actions supporting and loving people were able to overcome her attempts at isolation at self-destruction, and. ;__; To have the full circle moment, where Rakka then supports Reki when she thought she was most alone...wah it was so beautiful.

Your delineation of the art vs. novel divide was incredibly apt, too.

Artists are a lot more used to telling story by implication.
