Tonight (Jan 12th) is the last night for naked-eye viewing of the brightest comet to be seen from earth in 30 years. Just after sunset, still in the sun's glow, very close to the horizon will be comet McNaught, which is now between the earth and the sun.

But we're less than an hour to sunset now, with only very sparse cumulus over the Olympic peninsula presently, so hopefully we'll get a good show tonight.
