Booyah! I've finally finished that long, Long overdue NejiHina essay that I needed to do! The annex ended up taking long than the actual essay. XP Without further ado...

It was almost like in the Chunnin exams Neji was...possessive of Hinata's attention and his control over her. As you said in your other essay, he knew absolutely everything about her and what to say to make her freak out. And when she continued to fight, it was almost like what he was saying was a warning (not quite begging/pleading) to back down and be safe. No matter how much he SAID he disliked her, he wanted to manipulate her out of the exam so she'd be safe...-I- think. *thud*
I feel like I can ask you this question: does Hinabi call Neji that name too or do you have the feeling Neji lets Hinata get away with calling him that fonder, respectful address?

About Hanabi: we have no indication of how Hanabi addresses Neji.
- "nii-san" is not necessarily affectionate, and depending on Hanabi's personality (she doesn't have a fixed one, really, not with her limited screentime, so fanfiction can do just about anything with her), she could be using the address as a polite acknowledgement that he's a cousin (it'd only be polite, no reason she for her to be rude), and depending on how her character is portrayed, the way she says it may even be sarcastic and disdainful (a reminder that despite their biological status, they're still members of separate casts).
- a second possibility is for her to address him as just Neji. She's of superior social-status, she does not need to address him with say... a -san.
- Neji -kun is also used for people of lower social status than you. However, it'd be weird coming from someone younger than you.

Heronite! I have missed you and realize I have neglected you with my lack of being around to comment! Nevertheless, I feel I should propose marriage. What say you?

I often wished I could figure out how the hell to get my credit card working online. >_< Any idea what a pain it is to have a credit card in a bank in France that mails to an address in Belgium while you're living in China?!?! I can never get the address field right!
And just when I think I kind of had the hang of it, I tried to get paypal working again, only to see that eh... I must use Paypal France with that particular credit card, and Paypal France only accepts mailing addresses to France apparently.
BLEARGH. XP
