Ron is pissed off at me because I choose to go out on my night off and watch Harry Potter 4 than to sit around the house and look after my sister. There comes a time when I just want to be there

Of course, you COULD get strength and positive feedback from helping your sister and being there for her, like you always demand of YOUR friends and don't seem to receive to your satisfaction. Don't punish your sister for the pain you feel. Be there for her. The truth is, you are always there for yourself...this isn't about you...and I know you know that!

I agree with sheriffjoe. The tougher times get people need each other more and more and the truth is that no matter how bad you feel for yourself and what you are going through you should always be there for others that may need you more than you need yourself at that point in time. Although you don't seem to think so even though people are going through other things they can still help you and others when they are asked or sometimes not asked. Sometimes though our own problems blind us for that moment and we can't tell what others need or don't need and then we may have missed out on helping someone else and ourselves at the same time. But then again what do I know I don't have any friends really besides like um one!! Well, take care anyways and ttyl.

Perhaps it's cold and perhaps it fucked up. But the one you have to deal with is yourself. Do what you have to do and give up that guilt... unless that's really what you like to wallow in. Then I can't help you there.
