Long since I've been able to speak to you like this. All this rain is certainly dreary however my dears.

What better way to spend the rainy season than to try new things and see things in a different light? Meet new people, perhaps? If it doesn't work out, never give up. Always try again!

(ooc: Oh snap. Event tiemz. More info to come later this ( Read more... )

New things, new people... that could be either very good or very bad.

But for now, I must say I am quite happy to know you are around again. I think now I can relax a little.

So kind of you to say, but experiences make children grow up to be different kinds of children~

We must not let them sit stagnant for long.

I do quite love rain. Then, where I lived before coming here, rain was quite common.

Oh! Are you going to hold a party or... a social or something...? Parties are great in rainy weather.

Do you like parties, child?

Well, I guess it depends on what kind of party it is. I don't go to those crazy house parties that are always full of a million people you don't know... But I always have a lot of fun when me or one of my friends throws a party!

It will be something unpleasant won't it? Butter us up with a nice little festival, then pour rain down on us and do something else horrible. If it's more zombies I won't have it, I just won't.

The festival is not my doing, however the Hare did a beautiful job with decorating.

We don't choose what is to happen -- sometimes children are the products of their own devices.

That sounds like your trying to say I bring misery on myself. Perhaps someone is choosing to not block these things that happen? Maybe someone is too amused to care.

It was a lovely festival, I commend the Hare and the thought he put into it. I actually enjoyed the indoor trees.

Our level of care differs from person to person -- but experiences are what make people individuals.

I am book pressing many of the different blossoms that bloomed. Perhaps you would like one when I am done?

...

Who are you? I've never encountered someone like you before. And what exactly are you talking about?

Well, goodness, I hope not! I've always been here but I've been ... pre-occupied for a long while.

You may call me the Duchess if you want.

Oh, I think I understand now. You're a person who watches over everyone in the Mansion, I take it?

It's a pleasure to meet you, Duchess.
