HOLY CRAP! I just found my albino Kenyan Sand Boa (Derpy) slithering along the floor of my bathroom as I stepped out of the shower. When you think your snake tank is locked- DOUBLE CHECK!! I was pretty darned sure the locking mechanism was in place.. But when I went to put him back in the tank, there was clearly a gap that shouldn't have been open

Had this happen with my cornsnake years ago. I also found him in the bathroom before I even knew he was missing! Turns out my brother was showing him off to a friend when I wasn't around and forgot to lock the enclosure.
