Hey, you'll probably need to buy a receiver with a pre-amp, because most record players require one. You'll need to look for Phono inputs. Vinyl has become a very cool hobby, I like discovering older music that way, and to an extent some newer music. Plus, there's just something cool about hearing the Beatles, Bob Dylan, or Neil Young on a crackling record player.
I too found Who's Next in almost perfect condition (The sleeve was a bit worn, but the record itself was flawless), I got mine at the Salvation Army for 25 cents! Shit like that makes me cream my panties.
Another thing about my record player is that the speakers I have kick ass, they're over 30 years old and the cloth pattern is exquisite, as well as the wood encasement. Gotta love it.
