Straightening the cuffs of his black coat with one hand, Ludwig took one last look at the simple bouquet in his other hand. The bright, cheery flowers looked appropriate, given the person they were a gift for. A sunny disposition deserved a sunny arrangement. Red roses, yellow lilies and baby pink dahlias were wrapped tightly in spring green

He padded over to the door, fixed his clothing AGAIN, and opened it.
It was LUDWIG! Well of course it was Ludwig!
"Vee!!" He exclaimed and threw his arms around the stoic German, barely missing crushing the flowers Ludwig held between them.
He stepped back and noticed them. "Oooh!!! Are those for me, Ludwig??" He asked, clapping his hands together.

"Ja, meine susse, they are for you," He choked out, carefully unwrapping Feliciano's arms from around his neck. He straightened his coat again, handing the flowers to Feli.
"Are you ready? I was thinking bowling first, to work up our appetites, and then dinner at the Italian restaurant."

"They're so beautiful! I'll have to pick one of each flower to put in my book!" He smiled. He had a book of pressed flowers that held one flower of each kind from each bouquet that Ludwig had ever given him. Each page was dated, and a small paragraph was written about the occasion.
He finished making sure the flowers were going to be okay while he was gone, grabbed his ID and keys, and stepped out into the hall with Ludwig.
Grabbing his hand, he said, "I'm ready! Let's go!"

"Ich liebe dich, auch." Ludwig said quietly.

They sat in silence only a few moments before Feliciano started talking again. He wasn't even sure what he was talking about half the time, but he didn't care. He just loved it that Ludwig listened to him without telling him how stupid he was. He knew he was a little on the dumb side. He didn't understand math or science or geography...He understood art, because it spoke to his soul.
But Ludwig never called him stupid. Ludwig didn't seem to mind that he didn't understand certain things, and that's all Feliciano wanted from him.
Well...that and love.
Before long their dinner came, and Feliciano was still talking, but he kept sneaking his foot up Ludwig's leg. He'd worn slip-on shoes for a reason...

Twirling a little of the angel hair pasta on his plate onto his fork, Ludwig leaned forward and offered the bite to his boyfriend.
"Want a taste of mine, meine schatz?" Ludwig was beet red, but he wasn't going to back down from this game.

"Mmm..." He swallowed, and licked his lips suggestively at Ludwig.
He loved making the German blush. It didn't seem like anyone else could do it. Only Feli. And it made Feliciano feel more than just special. He got to see the side of Ludwig no one else ever got to see.

He kissed his way along Ludwig's jaw, until he found his chin, and then up to his lips. "Ti Amo..."
His hands slipped farther down and his fingers found the button to Ludwig's pants. He giggled and unbuttoned them.

He rained kisses across Feli's skin, everywhere he could reach. Shoulders, neck, chin, adam's apple. He sucked Feli's bottom lip in between his teeth before introducing his tongue to the small Italian's.

So much more than what he figured he was...
He felt so safe in Ludwig's arms as the rest of the clothing was discarded over the edges of the bed. He had never been afraid of him, even when they were together the first time. It had just all felt so right.
Just like now was feeling oh so right...

Large calloused hands roved over the small Italian's body, remembering favorite soft spots. The hard jut of the left hip was ticklish, the dip where pelvis and groin met was highly erogenous. The gasps and giggles Feli issued were old hat by now for the pair, but the soundtrack was Ludwig's personal favorite.
Whispered German endearments met Feliciano's reddened ear as Ludwig prepared him for their coupling. His traditional mind kept yelling at him that this wasn't romantic, there should be the old cliches lying about; roses, wine, soft music wafting through the air. It took a lot of will power for him to push those thoughts away. From Feli's reactions, it didn't seem he was doing too badly, anyway.
