Oh, I like the "I Have a Dream" photo, what a great idea! I mean, I know you were going to do the Gabriel-marries-Greta dream (er, nightmare) but the MLK comparison is wonderful...I love that speech. :D

One thing I LOVE about SIUE is that we just rent the books. It's a $100 renting fee, but it's part of the tuition bill and all so its nothing I have to pay for out of my pocket. Plus I don't have to worry about buying and selling the books or anything, just go to text book services and find what I need.
But art supplies, on the other hand, are screwing me big time this year. I'll be spending $122 on film alone for my photography class, and have a crapton of other shit to buy for that and metalsmithing T__T Looks like there won't be any dollies for me this year :(
As far as school goes, I think I just got off way lucky with my living situation last year. I HATE the hallway I live in now, it's 90% guys and they're all loud, obnoxious, and don't know how to turn their music down. There's at least 3 people who leave their stereo on so loud that I can't even hear my roomate talking, and most of the time they aren't even in their rooms >:O
If you did study abroad, where do you think you'd be going?
Yeah, I'm totally jealous about that textbook renting thing. That would be SO much easier than trying to hunt down the cheapest book on half.com!!
Holy crap, that is a lot to pay for art supplies! Well, I guess that's one of the pitfalls of being an art major, isn't it? And no new dollies?? You say that now...
Um, your hallway=the Beta house. I've never seen such a group of neanderthals in my life!!! You can just go to an RA if you need to deal with those boys; we have to call the cops to get the Betas to turn down their music.
I'd likely go to London, since my school has a direct enrollment agreement with a school there. I'd also LOVE to go to Australia, but I have to see what my school offers there :D
