Sooo, I am pleased to announce that B and I adopted a cat! yay! We adopted her last month, on the 26th, but we've known her since April (more on that in a moment). Here she is on her adoption day, Socks:

Ohhhhh Schnee what an wonderful story......and I feel so sad for Sissie, it made me cry.....but don't feel guilty you did just wonderful things for those cats,
Socks is such a lucky cat to be adopted by you.....and you and B must be over the moon to own your cat now....LOL I know how both of you love kitties so much.
Tell Socks she is a really pretty lady.

Thanks sweetie! The part about Sissie is heartbreaking, but I'm glad I got to know her, and I'm glad that Socks was able to grow up with her sister. She is so good with her claws when she fights with us, hardly leaves a scratch, and I know it's because she and Sissie used to play-fight.

B and I feel really lucky to have found Socks, we think if she had been a younger kitten she would have been adopted during the week we were looking for her. But at 8 or 9 months she was a little bigger than most ppl want, if they want to adopt a kitten. We are both very happy to have her in the family, she really is a little charmer!

hahahah, I will tell her! lol, that's what I told her when I was posting: "I'm telling my friends about you, and they're going to say you're pretty..." rofl
