If you have any sense of wonder in you and you appreciate a dark, gripping fantastic tale that doesn't follow family friendly Hollywood standards, go and see Pan's Labyrinth (trailers here). I bet I'll look back at it as one of the best films of 2007. The film's sad lullaby theme has haunted me ever since I saw it.

I don't think highly of tv, but recently I've found two excellent animated shows. First, Oban Star-Racers, a french-japanese anime. Very charming and well made. Watch the Oban_Star-Racers opening at YouTube, why dontcha.
