I am finishing up my second week of psychiatry rotations, and I really love it. I get to sit everyday and talk to people, understanding their stories, trying to unravel their minds. Brings back memories. I don't know if I could go back and start psychology again. Probably because I've slipped to the other side with a thankfully treatable issue.

It's a beautiful thing that in your field, rehabilitation is valued over punishment. This should always be the case for everything. It means not leaving people behind. You've held on to friends for years and years, and I think you are well suited to be in this field.

Please write a book someday. I know you will.
