the less I need distance specs for driving (apparently, I'm now legal to drive without them). and the more I need reading specs for knitting, sewing, or reading.
I need glasses for close up reading but very fortunately I have a basic 1.5 magnification requirement. So to supplement my prescription glasses I have a multitude of the cheap ones from Aldis and primark all around the house and in the car. .. I blame all those manufacturers who are printing labels in fuzzy small fonts personally. ..
I blame it on the new light-bulbs, which take an age to get to maximum brightness. I have astigmatism which keeps changing - a lot - so I can't just buy off-the-shelf 'readers'.
Really looking forward to meeting you in RL at WriterConUK. I haven't attended in person for the past three yeaars - last year, I was coping with MWNN's chemotheraphy, the year before, the Olympics shifted the date to boat time, and the year before that I was very ill.
I am both excited and apprehensive about my foray into the world of mixing RL and online friendships. But I am taking the plunge, and looking forward to meeting everyone.
