as being my first gothic romance novel i have to say
that i really enjoyed it.

i love bronte's style and how she uses narrators that, instead of
being these omniscient beings, are human and make their own assumptions
about characters and present views that are rather skewed or biased.
i think it strengthens their characterizations and forces you to read between
the lines and walk away with your own judgements.

i also really loved the setting.

heh sorry to go into english mode. what did you think?

yeah i'd say that it's probably one of my favourite books now,
and i'll probably read some more bronte when i find the time...

i just started pride and prejudice and it's looking to be
really good so far as well.
