hey, man. i found you through the cardigans community. i read white oleander last summer and i remember it being really good. the movie was kind of disappointing, after reading the book, though. um, i know i had a point coming into this. i must have forgotten it. oh, well.
i actually haven't gotten around to reading twelve yet even though i've had it for a while now. i also read about him being so young and it made me feel equally impressed and inefficient. it's next on my list though so i will get to it soon.
white oleander was amazing. i couldn't believe it was janet fitch's first novel. i keep hearing terrible things about the movie and yet i still plan on paying to rent it. call it a morbid curiosity.

yeah from what i've heard the movie doesn't do any justice to the book.
i still have this sick, twisted desire to see it though...

granted, the movie was below par, but the california blue tones and that allison chick make it completely worthwhile.
