1). Probably because it is a bad habit to break, or an innate reaction as a defence mechanism of some sort. 2). Because people think they are immortal to some degree and that nothing really bad could ever happen to them, or that they just don't think. 3). Because we make it out that everything must have a reason. 4). Because we can't control primal behaviors such as those. 5). Because they believe that there is still a hope for whatever they are holding on to. 6). All depends on how you look at it. 7). Because they are faggots who will not stand up for something they said. They never had something that they could say to support it, rather they feel like wasting everyone's time by speaking about something they have no clue on
