We have rain. Finally. I guess the whole of North west Europe has been a bit hot lately.

I am trying to avoid the news as much as possible, because all I want to do is get my hand on Putin and kick his face real hard.

Yeah, the news is sooooo depressing and infuriating as of late.

It's cool for all of a minute after the rain stops.

The news is more depressing than usual and it might be about to get a whole lot worse here in the UK in terms of the brewing abuse scandal.

We had a very dry year last year. It is being suggested, however, that our upcoming rain season will be record breaking.

I hope European and other countries do something about the situation in lieu of spending their time saying they are going to do something, then do nothing.

Putin needs to be held responsible, whether he was directly or indirectly involved.

Sadly no one knows how to hold him responsible. Even if the ICC issued an arrest warrant, they'll never lay their hands on him. And those economical sanctions will often enough hurt the sanctioner more than the sanctionee.

Well I hope the rains come, it's been far too long since you've had any proper rain.

Sanctions will do nothing to Putin, he'd likely use them as propaganda about the evil west not liking a strong Russia and all that crap. The problem is some EU nations want to tackle Putin while others are just hoping it goes away due to being reliant on Russia gas etc.
