Somebody was telling me that a steampunk band is coming to play at the flying monkey. I'm hoping by the time it does I'll have some sort of liquor pouring contraption rigged up from the Make Shop.

I've been trying to figure out what would be a good antithesis to steampunk. Kind of like Pirates to Ninjas, Trekkies to Star Wars, Hackers to Sex. Oil Punk?

Um... I'd say maybe Cyberpunk? Or maybe some sort of post-industrial aesthetic?

Most people use cyberpunk from what I've seen.

There was some cyberpunk... but it was the first time I've ever seen it in costuming. It really seemed to be relegated to the screen/game.

Yeah, that was the 4pm one. As soon as Charlie gets all the videos edited and cut together, we'll figure out how to send it. It's a pretty hefty file.
