So Husband posted his big news: His mom is dying. I will post this because I know he's not ready to yet, and because I bet it will be easier for me to do now that it will ever be for him. Besides, I have my own feelings about this

I wasn't really sure what to say at the time when he first told me about it... But after thinking it over a while, I actually came around to one of my least favorite (religious) expressions: "It was her time".

I've never met Abby, but just from hearing about her from the both of you over the years... I think, even as the cynical atheist that I am, it applies pretty well here.
