washing hair with baking soda

Just tried it and I'm liking it a lot. Conditioner works better, I used less as a matter of fact and my hair doesn't shrink as much ie isn't as tightly coiled so combing it out was that much easier. Dunno why it took me so long esp since I tried like a million new shampoos since then ( Read more... )

interesting. so, do you just pour it on your wet hair straight from the box? i'm trying to get a visual.

i've heard about apple cider vinegar being good, too. ugh, i have so many things i need to try. my shrinkage gets on my damn nerves.

No, you mix it. 1tbsp to 1 C water. I used 1 cup, massaged my scalp then worked it into my hair. The less shrinkage was a nice surprise, watched a few YouTube videos and they didn't mention that.
