52 Words for Snow [6/??] anonymous August 14 2009, 13:59:47 UTC
-Late September 1958-

Russia understood what was going on. Perfectly.

He could easily translate those French and Spanish whispers, echoing through the darkness. Verbal evidence appearing before him, words in flashes of white and grey before his very eyes. Even the lowliest person, without the slightest understanding of anything, other than their first grunted utterance, could see what was happening. What would predictably come.

That is until the screen started flickering, and suddenly went dead. Right in the middle of the movie no less.

“Oye, fije la proyector!”, a Spanish man called out a few seats in front of Ivan, far off to the left corner of the theater. The teenage girl curled up against the shouting male, added an irate little huff, annoyed that the French film she’d most likely broken curfew to see, was being postponed ( ... )

Russia finally advanced towards America. With more comfort and certainty than before, he touched the other country’s rounded flesh, lower and more firmly now, smiling as if proud he’d assisted in forming it. America had forgotten till now how calloused and rough the other man’s hands were, tracing so slowly down his abdomen.

Embarrassed and bothered--but far from humiliated--Alfred chortled a small subdued “Hmpph”, a trick he’d picked up from fussy England to magically will a change in subject. Nonetheless he affixed his grip around Ivan’s wrist, keeping warm against a small thatch of goldish pubic hair. He could only hope this gentle scene didn’t look too loving and beautiful from the outside. Allowing the moment to fly off on its own, like a tiny sparrow on a breeze, America finally yanked the whole of the country to himself for another feverish kiss ( ... )

He wasn’t curious to know why they’d stopped, or why they’d gotten this far, but rather why it was they were doing...this with the same precision as people who truly desired one another.

They’d never done this before.

They rarely kissed on the lips, if at all during ‘battle’. Duels of endurance and strength, biting, clawing, kicks and punches, and pillow talk vicious enough to make Stalin blush. All to prove some pointed display of supremacy. Alfred could count on one hand the number of times they had shown any slight intimacy, and those times they were so drunk they could barely distinguish up from down ( ... )

As the scarf’s noose loosened, the stabbing metal edges of America’s glasses lessened, slipping down his nose, nearly seceding altogether.

Ivan sighed, those greedy touches soaking in. It couldn’t be helped. Gently, he removed the offending frames from those baby blues, quickly raveled them in the cushioned cylinder of his scarf, and let both precious trademarks then fall to the floor. Russia searched through the dark blindly, finding the curve of America’s spine to hold him in place. His other hand slid further up the youth’s eternally stag-toned thigh, clenching the flesh there tight ( ... )

Contortions and grunts of discomfort gradually became heavy, breathy gasps and moans. Russia’s thick digits wriggled slowly and uncertain together, then began scissoring with the speed of the second hand on a clock, savoring each and every lovely noise ruptured. America’s cries, amplified with every joint flex, varying from faint brushes to full impact pushes on that sweet spot ( ... )

Seated upright and close-so close-, the Russian felt wholly nested within, against, and all around him. America earnestly believed he’d fall backwards and snap like a sheet of ice, if he were to even break from his hold in the slightest. A small part of his brain screamed corruption!, poison!, only making him want it all the more ( ... )

--Don't worry last part!!--

Somehow at some point, perhaps hours ago --perhaps together, without thinking-- the countries found the means to draw the blankets down and over themselves, drifting in and out of consciousness, still illuminated in their dewy afterglow.

Ivan peeled off his section of sheets to air the sweet gems of sweat still rolling down his torso, letting it crumple over the American sprawled next to him. This wasn’t an act of kindness, he just didn’t wish to become bothered with overheating. They were clean now, having mopped up any evidence of fluid from both their lower halves, with a towel he found dresser drawer next to the bed.

‘They would wake the next day and return to their corners of the world. They would never speak of this again.’ A loud sense of logic told him this, booming over sweet sounding poetry, whispering, ‘The earth had no corners to speak of and is round. No one in our modern time can deny this. Every advancement proves how small the world truly is.’Russia smiled, busying the cogs in his mind ( ... )

Though feeling a bit sheepish, but not spiteful towards the musty scent of sex marinating between the sheets, America took a second to curl into a ball before unfurling from the bed. He liked to get in as much stretching and movement in before his last few months, when his back would ache unmercifully, and he would have trouble seeing his own feet ( ... )

United States-

I must confess that my countrymen and comrades are inclined to test our superior weapons as we please, without fear of your weak western government wallowing in disapproval. I feel your deceitful ‘leader’ will do likewise, even if it’s right behind your own naive back. I will “present” the agreement, but I make no promises that the notion of a three year pause will be accepted.

However I will unwaveringly honor your lamentable begging and give my word that little Alayour next state will not be harmed before or after “his or her” birth. (--Alfred was surprised Ivan remembered that.--)

Please help yourself to the food set out. You will enjoy it! After all you didn’t have to pay for it, and someone else crafted it for you. I would gladly remain to discuss politics over a hot meal with you, however I am missed every moment I am not back at my house.

Plopping down into a seat and setting aside his star-spangled pride, he pulled both toxin-free bowls close, and began spooning the now tepid soup. On the bright side, despite being tricked and having to eat less than warm Russian soup, at least now Alfred found something to eat that he was actually able to finish. Even if it was made by that crazy commie.

A/N: Hai, lookie~thar, mo’ flag symbolism!

Girls, just letting you know, not all men take pregnancy as well as this. Only ageless nations with sweet firm asses. Sorry. That and Solyanka is amazing. Highly recommended (I thought it would be cute to use because one of the main ingredients is pickled cucumbers.).

Speaking of which, I am so sorry, SORRY, SORRY! I grossly exaggerated being on time and I was wrong. But I got the computer back and the original end to this chapter sucked eggs. This is a summary of what that crap-lousy-crap would have looked like:

Alfred: I iz hassing baby!

Ivan: OMG! (Hides in bathroom to drinkcry his eyes out.) I bad ( ... )
