Greece likes to think that he knows quite a lot about a variety of different things. Why wouldn't he? He is a sharp observer, and his mother's child- her wisdom courses through his veins, echoes in his head, after all. He has lived a long life, far too long for any human, and in that life he has seen things of pure, inhuman beauty, and things of horrid, inhuman cruelty. When one has lived as he has, one might think that they've just about seen it all.
But this? Greece, in all of his years and his books, his knowledge and real experience, has never seen anything like this. This is making him gawk, making him want to take pictures (for proof when he tells everyone later and they regard him as a liar, because this just is not possible) to savor this forever. Things he would never even consider happening, ever, are transpiring right in front of him, in front of everyone, unscripted and unprompted. Again, his urge to take pictures is strong. For one, England and France, though they aren't chatting amiably, are within ten feet of one

Anon, this is wonderful. The whole thing just has this air of serenity about it, and this sentence really just...sums it up, I think. "Perhaps, Greece muses, this is a practice run, an unspoken day of observance, a peek into what might, but will never be."
I love the thought of world peace, and in Hetalia terms, I love the idea of everyone just getting together for a little while and being happy. It's sad to think that that day will never come, but these little snapshots you've written are perfect. I really look forward to more :)
