Relationships are like Cooking (1.1/?)

This writer!anon was going to first write out the whole thing, but then got scared someone might fill this and AAAHH. I've already written about 2 parts, this first part having 2 subparts. This is SpainxS.ItalyxS.Korea because if any of you have read that fill with S.KoreaxS.Italy you would know why I'm doing this. I still haven't decided the final pairing, would OP mind 2 endings? Also this anon isn't really into SpainxS.Italy because she's Asian biased YEAY so sorry for any OOC. I'm basically writing based off of what I've read from the canon and seen in fanarts (while looking for Asians HA). So I'm a little nervous and hope that Spain and S.Italy's relationship is to everyone's liking.

The Ingredients: Pepper Pastes and VegetablesSouth Korea slept quietly in the train; the gentle rhythmic roar of the giant metal giant and the constant rocking aided him well. He slept with his right temple pressed to the window’s glass, his hands resting in his lap

A Chef's Tastes Never LieRomano held the empty canvas in his hands; he dragged his fingers top to bottom, feeling the newly prepared cloth on his fingertips. Gesso lathered heartily on the canvas, dried, and then smoothed down with sandpaper; this was how you prepared a canvas. The painting would look smooth, no spots of unwanted white due to the dents of the cloth

FFFFFFFFFFFf ACCIDENTALLY BROKE ANON FFFFFFFFFFFFF GOOD THING I CAN DELETE AHAHA NO ONE SAW THAT RIGHT?! ahah OMG I literally had a heart attack for a second (not ready to reveal myself yet ahaha)
Anyway, this is random notes and a little A/N (in small text for space)
First, I'm currently in Korea visiting family and will be back home tomorrow. I'll be writing more then, but it might take some time (flying 12 hours is exhausting) so I hope OP can wait

Totally not OP, btw...
Oh, anon, I like what you have written! I had not read that S.Korea/S.Italy fic so this pairing is kinda new to me... I'm a bit of a SpaRo fan, but so far I gotta say thumbs up to their interaction! Also, having 2 endings would be interesting... go with your gut, anon!
I hope you don't get offended but I was totally hoping for Yong-soo to say "Hey, you know roses originated in Korea!"
Also, another aside. I noticed you decided to use Yong-soo when referring to S. Korea and I was wondering if you would also use Lovino and Antonio for S. Italy and Spain later on... you know, just for consistency's sake. Just my 2 pence.
Take your time with writing, author!anon. I will look forward to moar.

I didn't know Spain's name (lazy ha) and I-I thought Romano was his name (like his last name)...AHAHA THUS the combo of being Korean and living in America since I was a baby.
AAH I forgot about Yong-soo's originate in me stupid phrase. I'm so used to serious Yong-soo 8D ahah

Ah, no worries about Spain's name since you mentioned not knowing it in the A/N. Romano's human name is Lovino Vargas. Romano is... Romano... OTL I'm an Asian American too! That's no excuse!

Having have read the S.Korea/Romano fic (and its sequel), I'm totally in love with this too, that and also Spain/Romano is also my OTP. Plus, angst and heart-breaks in this is really biting in me and fulfilling one of my twisted kinks for this pairing.
Above anons have pointed out about the consistency of the names, so I'll leave it at that. However, some parts of the fic are in present and past tense. And though I'm not familiar with writings (I usually end up all in past tense to make it easier), the two mixed together was a tad confusing at certain places.
Haha~ Another Asian!anon here, not Korean, though currently staying Down Under. ^_~
So far I'm really loving how this is going. Serious!Korea fan here too... <333333333

ahah ssshh I know on the grammar. I submitted this late at night when I was half-delirious and panicky. Sorry about that. Usually I'm more careful on the grammar, but I submitted the first+second part without thinking and focused more on the story. AND THE NAMES. I-I seriously thought Romano was part of S.Italy's name...and now I know Spain's.
YAY Serious!Korea fan! I'm glad you're loving this so far.

I'm actually working on something for this prompt. But it's been slow going.
Just from the start, this will likely prove to be interesting! Lovino's gruff denials and affection are very much in character for him, as is Yong-soo's very easy, very demonstrable emotions. Antonio's blithe acceptance and presumptions seem very much in character for him as well. The titles for each "chapter" are really rather sweet as well.
Just a few remarks on your Author's notes: By technical definition, a Catholic would be Christian (someone who's accepted Jesus as the Messiah). I'm supposing you're Protestant, probably Presbyterian? I was raised Catholic.
My head canon is that Yong-soo has an apartment in Seoul but he prefers to live outside of the city in his own place because he's a bit private (and he wants to remember the "good old days").
The jet lag wouldn't be quite so bad from Seoul to Rome. ^^; It's only a 7 hour difference -has been used to 16 hour time difference-.

Time-wise, the 2nd part takes place on the same day/next day. Flying is gruesome, especially if you're like me and can't sleep sitting up. 16 hour time difference?! I-I thought 14 hour was bad enough. (only 7 hours? need to do research before hand).
I have friends who are Catholic (not orthodox though) and they've talked about a lot of things I don't understand (thus the finer details, rituals). I went to a Protestant church, but now we go to a community church (no bias, YAY).
I went to a country-side like city once and it's just great. Fresh air (Seoul's air is abysmal), and beautiful scenery. My head-canon has it that Yong-soo's too busy sorting out the recent politics (and an old president died recently).

I'm a freak then. Jet lag doesn't hit me that hard. It used to be worse for me when I was younger but now, it really doesn't matter. Yeah, 16 hours... New Zealand vs. Los Angeles).
Ah, I see. I'm an agnostic, personally. ^^; And to be honest, I've forgotten a good deal of stuff from my younger days.
Ugh. Seoul is a... special city. It's so crowded. It's easy to feel claustrophobic around that general area. That would make sense, I suppose. He'd rather stressed out, after all.

OP here! This is a wonderful fill, I'm really looking forward to reading the rest of this. I love Korea, so picking him for this story is awesome. You mentioned you could do two endings, which would be very cool, that way readers can pick the one that fits their otp.
I will wait as long as you need for this to finish; it really is very good.
