Canada got his independence by talking to England while pouting a lot. Thing is, he isn't aware of it. So England goes 'Stop pouting' and Canada is all 'I'm not pouting' while he pouts. And in the end, Canada really gets his independence by pouting.

It was there. Again. Arthur tried to look away, ignore it. but it was impossible.
He'd always underestimated the blonde Canadian, never thought that anything he could do would be able to compare to what his twin brother could do.
Obviously, he'd been wrong.
"Stop pouting." The Englishman commanded, raising his newspaper to block Matthew's visage.
"Pouting?" Matt replied, voice innocent. Arthur gritted his teeth. He had to be faking it. Had too. He had to have some sort of idea what that slight protrusion of his lips could accomplish. Right?
"I'm not pouting." Obviously not.
"Yes. You. Are." Arthur shot the boy a glare over his paper, before immediately drawing it back up to use as a shield. Voice gruff, he repeated his order, "So stop. Now."
Matthew sighed, flopping back on the couch. Arthur let him be for awhile, before chancing a glance at the boy. Matt stared at the ceiling, lips still pushed out in that picture of sulkiness. Arthur frowned, and went back to his paper. If the boy thought he would give in that easily, he had

While doing Canadian history in High School, I was reading along in my text book and then all of a sudden...
"Wait... we got out Independence by... having parties?!"
Of course, these were actually called "conferences". But you know what they mean by "conferences". One account, speaking of the Charlottetown Conference, said, "They gave a champagne lunch on board the Victoria where Mr. McGee's wit sparkled as brightly as the wine."
...now that I mention it, I wouldn't mind seeing a second fill with parties instead of pouts. :'D (Though I loved the pouting one. It's just, you can't have too much, right?)
