OP feels guilty for wanting this...but she loves abused Russia.
I just want to see Russia being emotionally abused by General Winter. Time period doesn't matter.
But I'd love to see General Winter basically stating to Russia that in one way or another, he's the cause of all the world's problems. Whether it takes place during WWII, or present day, it doesn't matter.
But I want to see emotionally abused Russia breaking down and crying.
B. Baltics+Fellow Slavs comfort Russia, Latvia included. And for once, Russia doesn't do anything to scare them, and treats them all like truly valued family.

A soft knock at the door made him jump. Who would bother him now? Was it Latvia again? He pressed his face against his knees, trying to stay silent. Maybe if he was very quiet, they would go away

Oh this made me tear up. That it's eating into him that no one cares for him. All those emotions and feelings bottled up. With what he has been through, it's not easy for him to trust others or open up to anyone.
The conflict that he experience, even as he's comforted. Writer!anon, this was slightly heart-breaking.

I kindly thank you for such a wonderful, heart wrenching display of loneliness and pain. It truly stung me in ways that I just couldn't imagine possible. This is the kind of Russia I like, the one who's just hurt, depressed, and realizing that he was alone. And you have captured that so incredibly well. It's so beautifully done, and it's almost painful to read. But in the good way. The kind of pain that makes you read this, knowing that the feelings Russia feels are in a sense true. Really, Anon. I loved this, and I would love to see more from you.

I know I shouldn't be happy after such a sad story, but the characterization was so amazing and lkjzdhkjdattgjds just ... yeah.
