PURITAN!AMERICA

There is time travel or magic or alien technology or whatever and a young Puritan!America is switched with his modern day self.
Bonus 1: This happens at a world meeting.
Bonus 2: England forgot America used to be like this.
Bonus 3: Modern!America is a practicing Puritan (just not as strict)! So when he and his younger self switch back, there isn't really a change. Nations only notice this because of the time travel/magic/alien technology/whatever caught their attention.
Bonus 4: A nation (or nations) hooks up with America because of this.
Bonus 5: When America switched places with his younger self, he ended up having a pretty good time. It's the 1600s anything you want anons, as long as America enjoys it.

Canada will be along shortly and hopefully, things will go along fine. Until then, please let unofficial contact with the United States go through the diplomatic channels, and he'll get back to you once he is back to normal. The Council of Europe and the Arab League have already been informed of this, as has a number of individual states. If it persists much longer, we will probably have to call a world summit, but we're hoping that this is only a temporal state
