So we all know that Texas was controlled by Spain for a very long time, so I would like a fic of Spain giving America his glasses.

Um...I know this might very well make me seem like a dick, but Spain didn't actually control Texas when it became a part of the US. In fact, Texas was it's own [recognized] country at the time it negotiated to become a state...and that was after both the Mexican War for Independence and then Texas it's self fighting the Texas Revolution to be free of Mexico - plus a war with Mexico after Texas joined, in part because Texas joined.
