Partner-fic to 'Here comes the candle' I'm posting this now because this way I have to finish it.
To light you to bed“Hello and thank you for joining us. Today we are discussing the formation of the 51st state, formally known as the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. This is an unprecedented event; for a country and not even one which is part of the Americas to become a state is truly

This was heartbreaking, because all this time Alfred thought that Arthur was miserable and hated him (which wasn't true all the time), and he's left with that thought for the rest of his life. Stunning work, anon. I couldn't have asked for a better fill. <3
And the thing I liked best about this whole thing was that I was reading it at work on my phone, and I'm not supposed to have my phone on my at work so I was reading it in bits and pieces. The suspense of it all was fun. :D

I read both of your fills and... I don't ever get teary eyed from things. Movies, games, fics- it's very rare I get emotional enough for it to show. I teared up so bad from your fills. Just... so heartbreaking. Wonderful job, anon.

At the end, I wanted to cry but found no tears...just felt so empty inside. When I read the first story (Arthur's POV), I thought it might be the best result, but when I read this one, I, I, oh, Alfred..I felt so sad for him..sincerely hope he could overcome this. I thought this would be sad, but I did not expected it to be this sad, yet beautiful.
Though I suck at writing let alone translating, may I ask if I could translate the two stories into Chinese? Thank you in advance

O-oh my! I think my eyes just dried! ;A;
Oh, Alfred. Oh, Arthur. It's like the opposite of the revolution. This time "Alfred" [because it's not really him] is forcing Arthur to stay with him, instead of away from him. And the situation just makes they both so miserable! All of this breaks my heart. In zillions of pieces. ;A;
This is such a beautiful fill, author!anon! I can't thank you enough for this. Or praise you enough! <3
When I was reading the part where Al buys the lovebird, my neighbor's lovebird started to sing. It creepied me out a little! Is that a sign or something?
