Humming to himself, he moved through the plants, trailing his fingers over the leaves and petals as he checked them for any diseases or damages. This was the real reason he had wanted to run a flower shop. He simply did not have the money to afford a house with a proper garden, as he lived in the tiny apartment above the florwer shop itself. This was his only garden, and he took care of it as if it were his own, and not commercial. In fact, part of it was his own, and that part he was heading for now

The next day started much as the last. After waking up, tending to his morning needs, Ivan went down and opened up the shop again, cleaning everything thoroughly until he had nothing more to do, and was reduced to sitting at the stool again, bored. But, for once, he was glad of the lack of customers. He hadn't slept well last night, due to...troubling dreams involving his one customer yesterday. No matter what he did, Ivan couldn't seem to drive that random encounter out of his mind. He wondered if staying in America too long was turning him crazy. Anyways, the smile wouldn't get out of his head, and Ivan was irritated. The last thing he needed was more people that he was forced to be pleasant to

As he wrapped ribbon around the stems of Alfred's newest purchases - apparently he had upgraded from just bundles of sunflowers to wanting bundles of adorned sunflowers - Ivan found his curiosity got the best of him
