My headcanon says Poland is the way he is--crossdressing, Valley Girl-speak, and all--because of all the shit he's been through. Mongols, Nazis, Russians...he's risen again and again, but at a price.

Anon is asking for a serious fic involving Liet (preferably Lithuania, but Hungary's all right) asking Poland about the crossdressing. Poland promptly breaks down and tells him the whole story. Cue comfort scene.
