I would love a fic where Russia plays the hero and rescues America from something.

I have no specific event in mind -- an attack, an accident, an evil plot anything is fine. An no specific setting in mind either -- normal verse (would prefer a modern or future time period), AU, Gauken anything is fine for that too. I'd just love to see a growly, protective Russia and would prefer a not too whiny/weak America. Strong/capable of taking care of themselves people need rescuing too sometimes.

Would prefer no Evil!England any other characters you may want to make nasty and bad are fine.

Bonus: They're not an established couple, implied past relationship is okay, but at the time of the rescue they're not together.

I think I did this wrong... but I hope you enjoy anyway.

America didn’t answer, but just stared at the bathroom tiles between his feet, shivering. Russia sighed, unwrapping his coat from around himself and wrapping it over America’s shoulders, pulling him onto the tile, America feeling in his hands so uncharacteristically pliable. He pushed him back and rested his legs on the lip of the bath tub and pressed one hand on America’s neck, careful not to choke him ( ... )

Wow...this wasn't at all what I was expecting but man was it all sorts of awesome. Such a sad thing for America to be driven too and I love how Russia saves him but doesn't coddle him or hold back...let's America do all the "that was really stupid of me and I shouldn't try that again" talk himself. And the ending that sort of hangs there and doesn't end...sad but beautiful.

Aww I liked this fill the way I like my chocolate. Dark 'n sweet!

It's always interesting to see theories on death and immortality when it comes to Hetalia. Also I love that Russia is so hands on and caring for vulnerable America. Very nice!

needs to be more, too awesome. I love this fill. Non-emo attempted suicide, non-rapetruck Russia... plus I just want to see if Al gets better or if the shock does kick in... he's still bleeding, after all...

I have such a strange kink for suicidal america, poor guy...and you mentioned Germany+France and and Russia was so...ahh! I AM REALLY STRUGGLING TO PUT INTO WORDS HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS FIC.
