Author's Note: Sorry for the long length of time between chapters too many other WIPs and trying to find a good rhythm to keeping them all updated then I suffered a block on this one which I didn't think would be possible. Anyway I'm hoping to update this one a month if not a little more then that since it's such a fluff piece. But I'll say once a month to be safe

"You suck," America grumbled as the little bit of wind he'd gathered up deflated from his sails. He let his head fall back to the table with a thunk. "You only ever want to point out when I wrong

"That's just as bad as accidentally poisoning him," Canada said with a roll of his eye. "Russia knows soup, he'd see through that in a heartbeat

America filled the large thermos up and then twisted the lid shut with a satisfied grin. Canada had an answering grin on his own face as he poured the remainder of the soup into a Tupperware container and put that in the fridge

"Well...yeah..." Canada answered tentatively. "The things you two do, the way you guys interact with each very much effects the rest of us. I worry about you, America, I know you were close with him in the past and that you cared for him...a lot...more then you've ever admitted maybe and that...that...hasn't gone away even when you knew it should

"What is this?" Russia asked in a voice that would probably be incredulous if it wasn't so stuffed up and rusty. He was looking at the thermos America had just placed on his desk like it might bite him

Waaah, I didn't know this existed!! I loved the prequel fic so much; in fact, I love your RussiAme verses, because I can recognize certain elements in all that correspond to my headcanon for the two

Hey Author!Anon, I read Some Comfort and I would like to say really quick, that I loved it. You wrote America's voice really well. I fit with his character but at the same time it was mature and realistic. I loved the last scene, it was really sweet and also carried a little undercurrent of longing.
Which is precisely what I love about this story. You've got the same things going on and there's more of that sort of confused longing, and just a little bit of hope that something between the two of them might change.
I also loved how you referenced their history together and how there may have been something there before the Cold War. I also loved the way you wrote Matthew and Alfred's relationship. Realistic without the angst. I hope you can update soon!
