Some gratuitous US/UK fluff for you then!America loosened his tie as he trudged dejectedly up the front walk of England’s home. It would be nice if he could get through a meeting among his own congressman smoothly for once, bad enough that he have to deal with all the dissension at world meetings. He just thanked his lucky stars that he wasn’t being torn in two like during the Civil War. He especially thanked his lucky stars for the nation he was going to visit, knowing he could count on England to make things better

So cute and fluffy and it just makes me feel like snuggling up in bed with someone.

I love how England is the one mentioned as starting to read the non-verbal queues, so often it's America that it's kinda nice to see it the other way around.
