American Serial Killer on the loose with a penchant for small-built, sandy-haired and/or green-eyed men meets a young British man by the name of Arthur Kirkland…
Abducted!Arthur and worried sick!Alfred, who has to locate his unbalanced citizen and rescue his fellow nation before an international incident occurs.
Bonus: -Alfred warns him the moment he lands but Arthur dismisses his worries because he thinks that, as a nation, nothing will happen to him -Alfred’s boss urges Alfred to solve the matter in 24 hours or, according to previous victims, Arthur will be (insert horrible method of death) -Of course, because All Serial Killers Are Victims of Freud Was Right…the murderer is sexually obsessed with his type of victim -Alfred asks his brother for help
Super Ultra Bonus if anon wishes to make the story longer: -Serial Killer discovers just who it is he has captured... a)is delighted at the possibility to fuck with Mother England (and gets off on the egotrip of forcing himself on a nation

When Arthur woke up, the cold concrete beneath his back felt as if it were stabbing into his spine. The first thing he realised was not his own captivity, not the chains around his wrists or the cloth gag in his mouth but the smell; stale and cold and rotting, like the smelt of an abattoir.
His body convulsed with shivers. He could hardly see a thing but for a faint strip of moonlight falling in from a grate high on the far wall. He swore under his breath and tried to move but the chains around his wrist were attached to the wall, and his body felt bloated and sore.
He sighed. It was cold enough for his breath to come out in vapours. It had been so bright in the morning when Alfred had met him at the airport, so warm. In comparison, this place seemed unearthly, as if something was sucking the very heat out of the air.
“Stupid…” he reprimanded himself. Alfred had warned him about this.
“I’m not talking about gun crime! There’s this psycho on the loose. He’s been going around killing people and - and…Well, he’s already being

Writer!anon I love you! When I first saw this request I was like "Wow I wish someone could do justice to this!" and then here you showed up with THIS!
I love how Arthur thought of Alfred and his normal life at that moment, knowing that he could have been safe but now it's all gone and the flashback just...(sorry for the incoherence)
OP is ecstatic with this. Very disturbing, very well-written, specially the contrast between the previous safety and light and this universe of hell. The man himself is everything I hoped for, anon, thank you. There are no appropriate words to praise that kind of creepiness And Alfred, dear Alfred, I hope his worry materializes soon. He was certainly on the right track anon also LOVED the mention to Jack the Ripper ♥~~
Favourite line
He watched Arthur with the curiosity and fascination of a boy who had managed to pin a live butterfly to the rocks.
very apt and oddly beautiful/insane comparison
recaptcha is in the mood to torture Arthur as well and tells me 'about canines'. oh dear god

THANK YOU WRITERNON! This fill is *perfect*. You've managed to creep the hell out of me with the crazy serial killer and my mind is still reeling over this whole scene - the lullaby, the flashbacks, and that last bit before Iggy went unconscious. D:
Don't mind me. I'm just going to set camp here and wait for the next update. Guh.

By the time it passed ten o’clock, Alfred knew that something was wrong. He had tried ringing. Arthur’s phone was off. At first he assumed that it he was meeting with one of his ambassadors - Arthur always turned his phone off during a meeting, but then Alfred never knew a meeting could go on for five hours straight

“Cameras?” Alfred interjected. He looked so hopeful that even Matthew winced, knowing that he would have to witness the disappointment on his face when the man shook his head

Thin light penetrated the slits in the grate, falling upon Arthur’s face as he slowly opened his eyes. In the light he could make out all the things he could not see before; the iron door through which the man had come, the dirty concrete floor, and, most worryingly of all, the dried bloodstains of previous victims splash across the walls

Arthur listened attentively, but he did not think that he had anything to say, or anything he could say.
Warning. Your balance is low.
“I’m coming okay?! Just please - ”
Warning. You balance is low.
“Hang on. I will definitely, definitely come for - ” Warning. Your balance is low.
Beep.
He was cut off.
Arthur tucked the phone back into the pocket and rolled away from the torn heap of clothes. Down in the cellar with only the grate letting light and air through, he was not even sure if the roaming signal would be strong enough to reach. He could not wait to be rescue. He had to do something, but he had no idea what.
The sound of the door opening cut off his thoughts. Arthur instinctively stiffened, the muscles in his aching body suddenly seemed to ache much more.

Yessss! UPDATE! I've been looking forward to more of this fic ever since reading the first part of it. I am absolutely loving this and things are looking to be intense. Thank goodness Iggy caught a lucky break. Move Alfred, move!
Your style looks familiar. Would you happen to be the author for several fics like Author!non, Haunting You, and Fairytale? :D

That godamn "Tommy" thing creeps me out like you wouldn't believe. Seriously
Great chapter; Arthur is thinking on his feet, Alfred isn't, but what's new under the sky?XD The addition of Matt was lovely, as was Al's dramatic take-over of the police officeXD
Poor Al; I'd be the same if a loved one had gone missing in this context. And his boss yells at him and he feels like an idiot for having waited that long. At least, the organizations under his power are many and powerful...but they only have 48 hours and a meager clue on the suspect's looks. Damn, I'm hooked Awesome that you didn't stretch the "did he, didn't he" drama of the rape between Al and Arthur, I hate when authors do that. Will other nations step up to join the efforts?
