You mean Truman instead of Roosevelt, right anon? Dead guys can't be machmakers...(Roosevelt was dead before WWII ended and the atomic bomb dropping.)

I didn't actually mean at the very end, more like "now that that's ending..." and the whole "let's have Special Relationship tiems Y/Y?", which, if my memory serves me right, was Roosevelt's idea more than Truman's
