Okay, you know how a lot of girls are self-concious about their weight, even if they shouldn't be?

I would like to see some RussiaxFem!US where America becomes self-concious about her weight and tries weird diets and stuff like that.

Cue BigBoned!Russia who thinks that he needs to change too, but America is all "No!" because she likes him chubby.

Ivan eventually gave up waiting for Amelia to come out, and retreated to the second bathroom in the apartment they shared for a shower. He knew it was a nice luxury that their place was big enough for two, but he didn't really see the need. It was much more fun to shower together, even if it usually took longer. Showering by himself felt oddly lonely now. What was wrong with Amelia? She seemed fine last night...happy, just like always. He loved her cheerfulness, and was almost deliriously happy that they were finally living together. They had gotten off to a bad start when they first met, arguing all the time, but somehow he fell in love with her...and now they were finally together. Wasn't Amelia as happy as Ivan ( ... )

This is just wonderful! I love how alive and real it seems. I love that Russia only sees lovely curves when he sees her and I can't wait to hear what she see when she looks at him.

Ah I read this twice already and yet every time I read about Ivan miss-overhearing Amelia/America I still feel like crying and wanting to hug him.
Also I agree with the anon above. You really made this fic and these two look so alive and real.
Lovely job with this fic so far. <3

The mall wasn't very crowded when they arrived, which suited Ivan just fine. It felt more like a date when there weren't so many other people around. How long had it been since they had really gone out on a date? It felt like a long time. Was that a bad sign? Ivan tried to not worry about it ( ... )

Awww...poor Ivan...I can see him being all clueless and nervous and scared and I love the further glimpses in how they view each other (as opposed to how they view themselves) and what/why they like that about the other.

They ate in silence and Ivan retreated to the bedroom early, eager to go to sleep and hope that the next day would be better. He perked up a little when Amelia came in and grabbed her pajamas out of the dresser...but then she disappeared into the bathroom again. She never minded changing in front of him before... He lay down and rolled over to face Ivan Jr's cage. The hamster stared back at him. Lucky hamster. He didn't have to do anything to make Amelia love him ( ... )
