I want one nation trying to recover from some emotional distress and being soothed by his lover's heartbeat. Make it fluffy <3 I could go for a number of pairings here: UKUS, FinSu, RomanoxSpain, ItaGer, CanadaxCuba, GreecexTurkey, PrussiaxMale!Hungary. You can flip-flop the order of these pairings and I'd still be happy, but I'd kind of like to see a different dynamic with these couples.

Heartbeat - Alfred & Arthur

It wasn’t often that Alfred was feeling anything less than his loud, perky, sunshiny self. But he’d always seek out comfort in Arthur when he was, and for that, the Englishman was deeply touched. Because while it was known and reaffirmed every day--in every phone call, e-mail, hug, kiss, and every time they made love--that they loved each other more than anything, it was a sign of just how much Alfred needed him, wanted him, depended on him, when he’d curl up in the older man’s lap and be comforted.

Alfred was a strong, independent nation, always steamrolling on ahead and hardly allowing himself a moment of vulnerability. He hardly allowed himself a moment to come to a halt and think, reflect, and feel. But when he did, there was a whole lot to feel, and it was always hard for him to deal with the sudden flow of emotion ( ... )
