The door splintered and flew from its hinges as Russia crashed into America's hotel room, holding his pipe in one hand and a pistol in the other. Seconds later, he pressed the gun to America's forehead, even as the cold steel of America's own pistol touched the soft spot beneath Russia's right ear.
They stared each other down.
The world waited for their next move.
America's smile was wide and shining and his eyes were fever-bright. "Howzit going in Berlin, Ivan? You gonna wall off the entire world?"
Russia curled his finger around the trigger. "It is going better for me in Berlin than it is for you in Vietnam, AlfredIf that hit a nerve, America did not show it. "Is China speaking to you again?" he asked, the corners of his eyes crinkling as he smiled. "Ya know, I was really tore up when I heard about what happened between the two of you. This is now my headcanon for America having so many kids by so many parents...have England, France, Netherlands and Spain caught up to this strategy, or do they remain oblivious to the way America has them by the ballsXDOh, and I have one little complaint: I think the actual seduction of Russia would have been a)an excellent addition to the fic, and more importantly, b)SINFULLY HOT LIKE THE BLAZING PASSION OF SPAIN ( ... )

It means that America doesn't think loving his children is a weakness. He's deriding Russia for thinking of their child as something like that.
What I love about this fic is that America IS manipulative here, and certainly playing his baby daddies, but that he's not doing it because he's a bastard. He's doing it because of what's been done to him.
Think about it: England starts sleeping with him when he's much too young. He strikes back by sleeping with Holland. France and England fought over him and Canada, and separated him from his brother for years. Because of that, he keeps his children from their fathers because he doesn't trust them... and for good reason. He's trying to protect his children, who he loves. And as implied by what he says to Russia, he sees that love as a strength. Those nations didn't get him pregnant because they love him and wanted to be with him, they used him. (France admits ( ... )

America is such a Bitch. Seriously, every line he said was like a stab to the heart. You can't help but feel for Russia, but you gotta admit that he's the one who got himself deep in the shit hole. But despite the snarkiness and the bitchiness, I gotta admit that I LOVE IT. It's sinfully perfect. <3
I could just imagine in my head when China walked out and Russia followed him, tat America had this bitch-tastic smirk on his face, thinking to himself, "Oops. Did I do that?"

Also America is brilliant, and I do really like that he uses his body for himself. And despite his manipulative nature here, I think he genuinely cares about his children, especially since he doesn't separate them based on their paternities.
